Punting in Tübingen - in your language
Dear guests,
for those of you who come from international countries and who would like to go on a boat trip on the so-called Stocherkahn with me, I am offering a special service. During the boat trip down the river Neckar, my stories and explanations can be told to you in various languages. There will be information about Tübingen and the historical university buildings which are located at the riverside, as well as the Hölderlin Tower, where the famous poet Friedrich Hölderlin lived for 36 years. And what would a Stocherkahn trip be without hearing about the famous annual Stocherkahn race?
Politicians and business associates from China, athletes from Japan as well as correspondents and students from the diverse arabic countries have already been able to enjoy this special service, and they were delighted. My motto is „things to know about and things to laugh about“ – I am sure you will like it! Of course I have already had many guests from the USA, England and all the other English speaking countries, too. It is understood that my guests from the Russian speaking countries are also attended to in their language. Travel groups from Spain and South America, Italy, France and the Netherlands, countries some of which remind me of my own pleasant holidays, will be welcomed in their mother tongues.
It will be college students from your home country – or with your language as their mother tongue – who will tell you all the stories and histories. Sometimes, it will be German college students with your language as their subject of study. In agreement with the students it is also possible to get further support by them during your stay in Tübingen.

As you already know, the Outlet Center Metzingen, including the headquarter of Hugo Boss, is located on the way between Stuttgart and Tübingen, a train ride of approximately 30 minutes. However, the romantic historic district of Tübingen also has many things worth seeing. Strolling through the old quarter, you will come across speciality shops which you will not find in any outlet mall.
